| The Program Leadership Lincoln consists of a two-day retreat and eight one day seminars, plus a class project. The program year begins in September and ends in May. The retreat provides structured exercises and presentations that explore theories of leadership and decision making through group discussion and other activities. The one-day seminars focus on individual areas of community interest, and explore the issues of leadership within the context of the day's subject. The class project is a selection determined by the class as an undertaking to improve the quality of life in our county. All areas of the program are designed to present a wide range of opinions and perspectives that encourage thoughtful discussion through lectures, panel presentations and a variety of group activities. This process enables participants to become visionary leaders in the community. |
